Talking Books and Braille Library from the State Library of Louisiana
The State Library provides "free public library services to Louisiana residents of all ages that cannot easily read standard printed materials due to a visual impairment, physical disability or a reading disability whether it is permanent or temporary.
The collection has over 75,000 titles in non-print formats (Braille, cassette, digital cartridge, and large print) including fiction and non-fiction subjects, for all ages.
The Library loans playback machines to those using the recorded materials and recorded magazine subscriptions are available.
Books and magazines are mailed free to and from library patrons.
