Central Library's Fall Short Story Contest is back!
Something strange has happened at Central Library... and we need you to tell us the story!
Pick up an entry form and write a 3-5 page creative short story (typed or hand-written) inspired by the bizarre scene displayed near the front of Central Library. You'll need to incorporate at least five (5) objects from the scene into your story! Fill out your contact information and drop off your finished entry form + story in the Contest Entry Box near the display. Winning short stories will be selected in two categories: Young Adults (ages 10-17) & Adults (18+). Entrees will be judged by library staff.
The contest kicks off on Monday, November 1st! The deadline to enter is Tuesday, November 30th at 5:00pm.
Winners will be contacted by Friday, December 3rd.
Good luck!
