Obituaries provide windows into the lives of real people, and many times add context to family narratives. As a service to patrons doing genealogical research, Calcasieu Parish Public Library has compiled and maintains an obituary index.

Hours are 9 AM - 6 PM, Mondays through Fridays, and 10 AM - 2 PM on Saturdays.
