All library branches of the Calcasieu Parish Public Library system have public PCs available for use by library card holders in good standing. Users login to the PC using their library card and PIN number for 1 hour sessions, with a daily limit of 2 sessions. The PCs include internet access, Microsoft Office 2007, and plug-ins for Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash and Java that are updated quarterly. Users must agree to the Electronic Use Policy to access the PCs.

Patrons with a valid phone number and/or email address in their library account receive scheduled auto-generated pre-overdue, overdue, hold and bill notices. With the Library Elf service, patrons receive pre-overdue, overdue and hold notices in real time.
Hint: Library Elf is a help to parents who need to manage multiple library cards.
The library holds thousands of programs annually from regular story times to special events in partnership with the McNeese Banners program. Convenient information about these programs is available via the library calendar of events.
