This month, Vinton's Adult Book Club will enjoy refreshments and discuss the mystery thriller "Never Lie" by Frieda Mcfadden. In this novel, a newlywed couple gets trapped during a blizzard in a remote manor once belonging to a missing renowned psychiatrist. To pass the time, the couple untangles the psychiatrist’s web of lies while listening to the audio transcripts from the patients and learning a horrifying truth.
Opened on October 24, 2022, this location continues the services of the former Fontenot Memorial Branch, named in honor of the late Jimmy Lee Fontenot of Vinton. It features a collection of popular materials, a drive-thru window, gaming PCs, a study room, conference room, and a community room.
