Major medical insurance is available for employees, with the option to add family members to the plan.
ONSITE MEDICAL CLINIC
Health Connection, the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury's onsite medical clinic, offers office visits with a $0.00 co-pay for employees and their insured dependents under the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury plan.
VISION
A supplemental vision program is available to employees through Always Care.
LIFE INSURANCE
Basic Life and AD&D: $10,000 in Life and AD&D coverage for the employee is included with health insurance at no cost.
Supplemental Life and AD&D: Employees can purchase additional term Life/AD&D coverage in increments of $10,000, up to a maximum of $500,000. Term Life/AD&D coverage is also available for the employee's spouse and eligible dependents.
RETIREMENT
Employees are required to participate in the Parochial Employees' Retirement System of La. (Plan A) upon date of employment.
VACATION
Vacation with pay begins accruing from date of employment.
SICK LEAVE
Sick leave begins accruing from the date of employment.

EMPLOYEE FITNESS PROGRAM
The Parish pays an employee fitness allowance toward a fitness facility membership. Allowance is dependent upon the employee attending their selected fitness program at least 8 times per month.
