Join Central Library as we share stories, lead songs, rhymes, and fingerplays designed to develop and grow early literacy skills. We will share stories for 20-30 minutes, then have toys and activities for 20 minutes for the children to interact with others and to give the parents time to visit. Registration is required for parents, caregivers, and children.

About the branch

Located in South Lake Charles, this is the library system's main branch, housing both the library and administrative offices. Services include laptop checkouts, self-checkout stations, faxing, scanning, printing, study rooms, community rooms, and a creative space.
