It's an after hours VR party game night for teens! Teens must be 13+ to wear the VR headset. All participants must register and their parent or legal guardian must sign a waiver.
Enjoy some free Virtual Reality time after hours from 6:00 PM to 7:15 PM on Friday, June 24th, at Central Library with one of our most popular party games, Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes. This is a VR game for teens who love puzzles! Working as a team, one player sits in a room and describes what they see so the other players can figure out what to do by looking at a digital "bomb"-defusing manual. Success demands using efficient communication and problem-solving skills before the clock runs out. You may have to yell to be heard, but no one will shush you in the library after hours! This game does not visually depict explosions or injuries.
Due to limited time & seating, registration is required. Please visit our website https://www.calcasieulibrary.org or stop by Central Library for information on how to sign up-- you do not need to have a library card with the Calcasieu Parish Public Library to register for this free event!
Note: If you want to experience the after hour fun in the VR headset:
