Join us for an afternoon of fun & games at Millennium Park, located at 1100 Bord du Lac Drive in Lake Charles! We'll have a StoryWalk, scavenger hunt, chalk art & more at this Partners in Parks event.
The City of Lake Charles Recreation & Parks Department and the Calcasieu Parish Public Library are teaming up for "Book It to the Park!" Please join us for an afternoon of fun, games, and treats at Millennium Park, located at 1100 Bord du Lac Drive in Lake Charles! Attendees can earn a prize for completing a scavenger hunt, and kids will have a blast creating their own sidewalk chalk masterpieces. Families can read the StoryWalk "Mouse House Tales" as they walk the park and can have fun riding the mini train, eating tasty treats, visiting the pop-up library, and more. We look forward to seeing you there!

Maplewood Outreach Center
Since 2016, the Maplewood Outreach Center has served as the hub for Outreach Services and Library To-Go—our delivery program for homebound individuals. Those unable to visit a library due to age, illness, or disability can apply to have books, movies, and more brought directly to their door by a friendly staff member. We're proud to serve patrons with temporary or permanent disabilities across the parish.
