Join us for an author talk with Eunice native Jason P. Reed. He's sharing selections from published and unpublished works, followed by an audience engagement period! Refreshments will be served.
New Bayou Books was founded in 2020 to bring a fresh brand of contemporary Louisiana literature to the shelves! Jason's first two books, Tattoos and Tans and All Saint's Day of the Dead, are set in modern-day Acadiana. Like the region itself, the stories and characters are a bit different-mischievous, surprisingly emotional, and as colorful as the people of our region.
Jason will share selected readings from his books and his unpublished works, also leaving time for a conversation. Come enjoy refreshments, reading material with just the right amount of Cajun spice, and a discussion with the author. Learn more about Jason's book's at the link: https://newbayoubooks.com/
The Sulphur Regional Branch features a brick sculpture of historic figures and moments from Sulphur's history in the lobby. This location also offers meeting rooms of various sizes, study rooms, and public computers.
