Join us with your favorite doll or stuffed animal as the JLLC's Literacy team highlights the American Dolls and entertains with a story, salon, fun activities and photo ops. Light refreshments.
The Junior League of Lake Charles has generously partnered with the library through their literacy program and donated the American Doll collection. This year 4 newly released dolls have been added to the collection that represent the decades. Children can bring in their own dolls or favorite stuffed animal to read to, and will be able to check out dolls from the library's American Doll collection which come in their own case. A journal is included with each doll so that children can write about their time with the doll.
