Features from previous app

  • Search - Search the catalog for books, magazines, movies, and music in both physical and digital formats.
  • My Account - View your checkouts and holds, pay fines, and use your virtual library card (my card) to borrow items.
  • Programs - Browse upcoming library programs, sign up to attend, and receive reminders.
  • Locations - View branch hours, contact info, and a map for directions. 
  • Self-Checkout - Use the virtual library card to check out items by scanning or manually entering the barcode.
  • Scan ISBN - Check if an item is available at the library by scanning its ISBN.

NOTES FOR KINDLE FIRE USERS

  • Go to https://apkpure.com.
  • Search for Calcasieu or Calcasieu library.
    • Or use this direct link. 
      • Device requires Android 6.0 or higher.
  • Tap "Download APK," then tap the arrow to the right of co.communico.calcasieulibraryh and enter the code displayed on the screen.
  • Tap "Download," then "OK" to begin the download, then tap "Open."
    • If you missed the prompt, go to your downloads and tap "Install." 
  • Once installed, tap "Open."
